漂珠是一種能浮于水面的粉煤灰空心球，呈灰白色，壁薄中空，顆粒細(xì)、重量輕，高強(qiáng)耐磨、表面封閉而光滑，熱導(dǎo)率小，耐火度高、保溫絕緣、應(yīng)力應(yīng)變均勻等多種功能，廣泛用于耐火、保溫材料的生產(chǎn)和在塑料、涂料、油漆油墨、陶瓷、封裝材料、地板膠、石油鉆探等領(lǐng)域作增強(qiáng)性填充料。能既有效地改善產(chǎn)品性能或施工效果，又明顯地降低生產(chǎn)成本，現(xiàn)已廣泛應(yīng)用于耐火材料的原料之中。

【漂珠特性】

1、高耐火度：漂珠的主要化學(xué)成分為硅、鋁的氧化物，其中二氧化硅（SiO2)約為50-65%，三氧化二鋁(Al2O3)約為25-35%。因?yàn)槎趸瑁⊿iO2)的溶點(diǎn)高達(dá)1725攝氏度，三氧化二鋁(Al2O3)的溶點(diǎn)為2050攝氏度，均為高耐火物質(zhì)。因此，漂珠具有的耐火度，一般達(dá)1600-1700攝氏度，使其成為的耐火材料。

2、質(zhì)輕、保溫隔熱：漂珠壁薄中空，空腔內(nèi)為半真空，只有極微量的氣體(N2、H2及CO2等)，熱傳導(dǎo)極慢極微。所以漂珠不但質(zhì)輕(容重250-450kg/m3)，而且保溫隔熱(導(dǎo)熱系數(shù)常溫0.08-0.1)，這為其在輕質(zhì)保溫隔熱材料領(lǐng)域大顯身手奠定了基礎(chǔ)。

3、硬度大、強(qiáng)度高：由于漂珠是以硅鋁氧化物礦物相(石英和莫來石)形成的堅(jiān)硬玻璃體，硬度可達(dá)莫氏6-7級，靜壓強(qiáng)度高達(dá)70-140MPa，真密度2.10-2.20g/cm3，因此，漂珠具有很高的強(qiáng)度。一般輕質(zhì)多孔或中空材料如珍珠巖、沸巖、硅藻土、海浮石、膨脹蛭石等均是硬度差、強(qiáng)度差，用其制的c處理中效果好的是針對于帶正電荷的懸浮粒子、較粗、濃and gas pipelines, etc.
