Application
Additin M 97.003 ist a specialty package for the formulation of demulsifying slideway oils for machine tools,
based on a well-balanced mixture of additives to
- reduce stick-slip,
- improvement of corrosion protection and
- enhance antioxidant properties.
Slideway oils formulated with M 97.003 and a suitable tackifier will provide highest precision even under extreme
low speeds
Additin M 97.003 provides excellent corrosion protection of ferrous and yellow metals. Machine and machine
parts are protected long lasting and effectively.
Furthermore, ready-to-use slideway oils formulated with Additin M 97.003 exhibit excellent demulsifying
properties with water based metal working fluids. The tramp oil separates fast and can easily be removed,
keeping a high metal working fluid quality.
The tackifying properties of vertical slideways could be improved by suitable polymers. Additin M 97.003 is
compatible with many polymers, which are typically used as tackifiers. (e.g. Polyisobutenes)
The recommended dosage of Additin M 97.003 is 1.8%-wt. plus 0.2-0.5%-wt tackifier (if desired). in Group I or
